View Full Version : Dont make NPCs invincible

TS1 I hated this, if you were M33 with full elites and all the skills you can think of with crazy vit/dex build and trying to invade an enemy town you will always get 1 hitted by those blasted guards or NPCs with a weapon and if yuo try and hit them they never die.

My suggestion is, dont make light/shadow/dark guards or any other NPC with a weapon or without a weapon impossible to kill or crazy dmg.

I dont think there will be guards, and if there are, it adds an obstacle in PvP. I personally like knowiing that the farther you get, the harder it gets. It would be stupid if everything was made easy. Leave it how it is.

In each town, rather than having un-killable guards, there are now ROWS & ROWS of towers(like the old guard shields)
that the attackers will have to drop in order to make it inside the final stage of an invasion,

We can just have respawnable guards/towers and have invincible non-attacking normal npcs...

BTW: im not talking about the TS1 shield guards, im talking about the invincible light/shadow/dark guards that everyone knows and loves at high levels when you gotta invade another faction's town (they one hit you, you know?)

wuld be cool if u could kill ncps so people couldnt enter the guards map selection if he is dead.

with like 1 hour respawn time.

would give a reason to invade because u could stop grinding for other faction.

also would frce faction to get out of there grinding spot and help.

just my tak on it tho.

Lol sounds gd alltho it would be very annoying if one faction was too overpowered and cosntantly taking out ur NPCs so u couldnt do stuff. Maybe a 30mins respawn time owuld be better :P

Just make like guards able to die, the stores and important npcs shud be invincible.

i like this game to be lil more realistic than 12 sky1. personally guards should be able to fight back and hit high enough damage that it can take a out a guy from dif. faction that makes a fujin to kill guard.

for instance like a master 14 + should ahve ability to take out guard.
not a guy that makes a fujin char. but has a main thats a guan/jin to stop our grinding.

At least have a range type and a damage type guard. They would be powerful, but no aoe.
