Even sent in a ticket. I was told I qualified.

It's +1 PR for every 3 Palace Rank you gained during the contest. As you gained 5PR, you only qualified for +1 PR which was already added to your character.

No, +1 was never added to my character.
I had went from 1, to 6. My palace rank was never increased this mystical "+1", and after the event, I raised it up to 9.
