being that you can toggle whether you see nudity or not, that Mature Mode option should also toggle the chat filter.

so if you have it on, not only can you see the nudity from mobs/bosses, but you can also say certain words that you have filtered.
nothing racist, but everything else would be nice, as the filter is annoying and blocks perfectly clean sentences due to where certain letters are placed.

and if you have the mode off, if anyone cusses, youll just see **** in its place as oppose to the actual word.

because pointless ingame nudity would be just as bad for a child to see as any curse word that they hear on tv and from their own parents anyways.

and this way , Mayn as a company cannot get into trouble as they gave the option for it, and if the child turns Mature Mode on, and the parent whines, its called oh well for them being a bad parent and not supervising their child as they should be anyways.

I do agree, and very well said. Concise and to the point.

Also agree.

Honestly, filters do more harm than good because they end up blocking out perfectly fine sentences, while alternate versions of the "bad words" slip through the filters easily. I know there's probably a legal liability, which is why most games have filters. But if there's a "mature" setting, that should disable the filters, so that people don't have to deal with the filter.

Our team would actually like to remove the option. I know many players would prefer to leave it in, but we want to make this game open to a younger audience too. We do hope you guys can understand.

As far as chat goes, yes, sometimes things get blocked that should be allowed. Whereas, others are skirting around the word filter. MAYN will take a stance against those who choose to be openly vulgar to other users.

We want to keep this a safe and enjoyable for all ages.

totally not trying to undercut ya , but its not your job to be the kids parents, its their parents job to monitor their child.
which is why the filter should be an option within the esc menu, or at account creation.

or better yet, put a side option via website so those whom are actually 17+ can have their filter removed by putting in their ID number or whatever the country may have, and the children whom have no such number to identify themselves will see stars as oppose to the words and everyone of age will see everything.
because filter or not, people will be nasty towards each other and get around the filter itself.

which in turn, the children will see the curse words with commas in between them, but with an option or some proof of age required, they wont see anything at all.

and yes, thank you for the response

When one registers for this site, they need to do an "Age Verification" so your idea
could be implemented rather easily i imagine.
